Ryokan Yamashiro

I visited Ryokan Yamashiro at Yunohira Onsen, Oita pref, 

and talked with the owner Mr.&Ms. Ninomiya. 

I have been wanting to visit this place after I read the book 

“The reason why there are so many foreigner guests stay in 

the deep mountains small ryokan”.  

Ryokan Yamashiro won  Trip Advisor No.1 of Traveler choice of Ryokan in Kyushu and 

everyday is full booked.

The place is not so easy to access, not so many attractive tourist places around, 

but many guests visit this place.

The reason is because “they want to stay at Ryokan Yamashiro.”

There are many tips of effort in the book and Mr.Ninomiya says 

“Omoteashi (hospitality) is feeling of security”

We, Naru Guest House catchphrase is 

“The place for the reason to visit Usa city”

 and we believe 

“Omotenashi(hospitality) is warmth”.

We are lucky that we can ask and get advises from Mr.&Ms. Ninomiya 

who have been already practicing what we wanted to do.
